A photographer and client mid-session at SMP Creative Studio

Your visit, start to finish.

Everything worth knowing before you arrive: where to park, how the doors work, and how wrap-up goes. Skim it once and the day runs itself.

01

Getting here.

The address

1088 E. Altamonte Dr, Suite 102, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, just off SR-436. Get directions.

Parking

Free parking right out front of the suite. No garage, no meters, no validation dance.

Load-in

Everything is on the ground floor, so gear, props, and garment racks roll straight from your trunk to your studio.

When to arrive

Your rental comes with a 10-minute grace window on each side, so you can come in up to 10 minutes early to drop bags and get your bearings.

02

Getting in.

Your door code

Every booking gets its own code. It's in your confirmation email, and we send it again about two hours before your session by email (and text, if you opted in).

When it starts working

Your code activates 10 minutes before your start time and opens both the front door and your studio.

The front door

Enter your code and press #, then turn the knob to the right until it clicks.

Your studio door

Rest your hand flat over the top of the lock to wake it. When the keypad lights up, enter your code and press #.

Code not working?

Text (407) 205-7606 and we'll get you in right away.

03

While you're shooting.

It's all included

Your room comes stocked, and it's all yours to use. The rundown of what lives in each studio is on the Equipment page.

You might have neighbors

There are two private studios off a shared entry, so another session may be underway. Your room is all yours; the hallway is everybody's.

The house rules

The short version: no glitter, smoke, sparklers, or open flames, and leave the thermostat at 76°. The full list is on the policies page (it's the same one you acknowledged when you booked).

Need more time?

If the day is running away from you, call or text (407) 205-7606 and we'll extend your rental at the regular rate whenever the calendar allows.

04

Wrapping up.

The clock

You have 10 minutes past your end time to pack up and head out. Beyond that, overtime is billed at $10 per 5 minutes, so extending ahead of time is always the better deal.

Reset the space

Run through the in-studio checklist and leave the room as you found it. If you borrowed furniture from the other studio, walk it back before you go.

Lock up behind you

If you're the last one out, enter your code at the front door, press #, and turn the knob all the way to the left until it clicks. Your code keeps working for 90 minutes after your end time, so there's no rush at the door.

We're a text away.

Anything unexpected on the day, call or text (407) 205-7606 and a real person will sort it out.
